Meet the Outta Puff Daddys

April 27, 2023

The Outta Puff Daddys (OPD) are our resident dad-dancing crew, based in Marina Studios. Since 2012 they have been dancing for their own entertainment, health and fitness, creating fun routines that embrace the humour of ‘Dad Dancing’. Through the guidance and creativity of the current leader, Paul Jukes, their social media has amassed thousands of followers and hundreds of wonderful supportive comments from across the globe with millions of views.

The OPD range in dancing ability, age, professions and body shape…but there’s one thing they all share – a passion to dance themselves healthy and happy! They break stereotypes by not looking like your normal street dance crew, and ok, they might not be able to do flips and tricks, but they love to perform…making people stop and smile.

As a group of men, their camaraderie and friendship goes far beyond just dancing. Over the years they have supported each other through various personal tragedies and challenges – their brotherhood provides a real lifeline for their own mental health. They talk openly – supporting, listening and being there for each other, no matter what is thrown at them.

Leader, Paul Jukes says: “We dance for our own mental & physical fitness and now also use our profile to actively promote men’s health, in particular mental health awareness. We encourage men to talk openly about their problems, to seek and ask for help when needed and for others to listen without judgement. We are all stronger together.”

The OPD mission is to keep spreading joy, positivity and awareness of men’s health… all through the power of Dad Dancing!
