A family-friendly café & shop in the heart of Brighton Marina

Just a short walk from Brighton city centre, Laughing Dog Brighton is a relaxed, welcoming café and independent gift shop that’s been part of the Marina for over 15 years.

We serve up a fresh, creative breakfast and brunch menu, including our now-famous pancakes, alongside great coffee, ice lattes, craft beers, and vegan soft-serve ice cream. There’s plenty of seating both inside and out, with spacious tables by the Marina fountain and a bright, buggy- and wheelchair-friendly interior. You’ll also find a range of delicious vegan and no-gluten options available every day.

Our shop is filled with handpicked gifts, plants, prints, and treats – perfect for browsing while you wait or picking up something special for yourself or someone you love.
