Enjoy working on the water? Looking to learn new skills? Are you interested in training as a Dredger Driver in a south coast marina? This role could be for you!

Premier Marinas are seeking to recruit a Dredger Driver to join the team at Brighton Marina, the UK’s largest marina set on the outskirts of Brighton, West Sussex.

Working in an outdoor environment, operating Premier’s cutter suction dredger, the Dredger Driver’s primary focus is the year round maintenance dredging of Brighton’s marina basin.

In addition, and as and when required, the successful candidate will be required to work alongside the onsite maintenance team to ensure the marina’s facilities and infrastructure represent the standard expected by our customer base.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a flexible work ethic to join our team. A good knowledge of boats and experience driving plant would be desirable but not essential as training, where required, will be given.

This role includes working outdoors in all weathers and will include some weekends and some Public Holidays, working a 12-hour shift pattern on a 4 on 4 off rota.

If you would like to be part of the Brighton Marina team and believe you have the skills and aptitude required, please apply in writing to Tracey Jefkins, Head of HR, supported by a current CV and covering letter describing why you are applying for the role along with your salary expectation. E-mail address careers@premiermarinas.com

Closing date for applications is Friday 20th August 2021. Successful applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the closing date.
